What are SSCC Families saying about their experience?

Stacy Drew
Intermediate Choir Parent
"Our daughter has had a wonderful experience with South Shore Children’s Chorus. She has been a member of the group since the very beginning, and it’s been amazing to see how much her self-confidence has grown, while also learning about the fundamentals of music and of course having fun. The instructors do a tremendous job working with each member to help them grow as singers.”
Anthony Samuel
Advanced Choir Student, Class of 2020
"South Shore Children’s Chorus allows each member to connect with each other and form lasting friendships through music. Its Advanced Choir is a program focused on the teaching of collegiate level music to students grade 8-12, and I believe it was pivotal in my growth as a musician. SSCC is a home for any child looking to express themselves through music in a judgement free, hospitable environment."
Nitsa Olivadoti
Intermediate & Advanced Choir Parent
"SSCC is our music family. My children have grown over the years as singers and confident individuals in this amazing program."
Julia Greene
Advanced Choir Parent
"My daughter has been a member of SSCC for three years. For a shy girl, this experience has given her so much confidence. She says” every class fills my spirit with joy". We love hearing her sing while practicing her lessons. It is remarkable the talent of the chorus! The group looks and sounds professional. I love to play back all the videos especially to my housebound parents. Most of all to see all the smiling faces of the chorus while performing ."
Heather O'Leary
Summer program Parent
"Both of my sons have joined the SSCC summer program the last two years. They both loved the experience and my husband and I are so incredibly impressed with the commitment to the students and energy Mrs. Oberoi puts into every single class. My sons have grown as singers and really found a true passion that has been fostered by the teachers. It is an excellent program - we can't recommend it highly enough."
Katey O'Neil
Training Choir Parent
"SSCC has been an incredible experience for our daughter Shannon. She has learned so much over the past two years. The SSCC teachers and staff have been so welcoming and nurturing. They have fostered her love of singing and helped her increase her self confidence. Mrs. Oberoi has a special way of bringing out the best in each of the children. Shannon loves SSCC and can’t wait for this year!"
